Former India number 1 in Speed Skating, Priyanka Dalal is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Sports Performance Coach. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Master’s degree in Exercise Science and is the founder of High 5 Sports Performance in Ahmedabad.
During her Sports Performance Internship at Stanford Athletics, she worked with various coaches to implement sport specific programs for 24 different varsity teams including men’s & women’s golf, tennis, soccer, swimming, gymnastics and basketball. It was then that she found her calling. She dreamt of having a training centre in India that provided athletes with everything that they required. From state of the art coaching & expertise in strength & conditioning, to mental toughness, physiotherapy & nutrition. And this is how High 5 Sports Performance was born. It is a high performance training facility that exists to inspire, educate and motivate individuals to reach their highest potential and lead healthy, balanced lives.
Priyanka believes that there is a child within all of us and she is dedicated to help you to bring out your best self, in the most scientific yet fun way possible.
Bhavik Vadher has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 7 years and during his journey he has exposed himself to different kinds of workshops that include Kettlebell training, Cardio Kick-Boxing, Ascend-Descend, High Intensity Interval Training, and Weight Management.
As a passionate coach, Bhavik’s role is to help clients master basic functional movements to improve their strength & fitness and to build a foundation for further gains. He loves to see his clients achieve their personal health and fitness goals, through a holistic approach of a balanced lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of health & wellness. With an extensive background in coaching, he tries to create a training environment that not only motivates but also empowers individuals to continually challenge themselves in a fun, engaging manner.
Bhavik is serving as a fitness coach at High 5 Sports Performance since December 2018, for professional and recreational athletes along with fitness enthusiasts.
Vaidehi is a physiotherapist and a fitness enthusiast. She has been helping people recover from injuries for 5 years and has recently enjoyed working as a fitness coach. She started employing strength training with her clients to get them to move well functionally and to help them cope up with pain and physical challenges. For her, physiotherapy isn’t just about giving modalities and healing injuries, but it’s about helping clients prevent injuries by getting them stronger.
She is a certified yoga, pilates and aerobics instructor. When she isn’t helping clients heal from injuries, you may find her mountain biking or skating or playing a round of golf with her buddies.
Puneet began his journey as an immensely passionate tennis player at a young age of 7. He battled through various injuries in this tennis career which made him change paths to tennis coaching and fitness. He joined our team as an intern and is currently pursuing a strength and conditioning certification.
He believes that the best way to push someone is by forming a tether connection with them which is what he loves about High 5 Sports Performance. High 5 gives its athletes a sense of community and brings athletes closer by indulging into fun activities and maintaining healthy competition.
Furthermore, his fascination towards politics and mental health motivates him to make this world a safer and a better place for all kinds of people.
Deena is a sports Physiotherapist and fitness enthusiast who believes that prevention is better than cure. She has completed her Master’s degree in Musculo-Skeletal disorders and Sports therapy in the year 2010 and is not only ambitious but extremely passionate about helping individuals train pain free to achieve optimal fitness levels. Age is just a number for her and believes about every individual at all ages should achieve optimal fitness goals.
She has worked in this field since 2010.Through this time she has worked with the Indian women’s senior hockey team, National taekwondo team, Indian women’s senior volley ball team and various other National teams at international levels. She has been the official Physio on bench for more than 50 International matches representing India in various countries.
